주여, 튀르키예, 지진 참혹현장을 긍휼히 여기소서

Almighty and gracious God,

전능하시고 은혜로우신 하나님,

We offer our prayers to you the nations of Turkiye and Syria, shaken by violent earthquake and aftershocks. We are reminded of our vulnerability as human creatures who inhabit this vast earth. As the ancient psalmist wrote, “You are our refuge and strength, an ever present help in times of trouble.”

우리는 이 광대한 지구에 사는 인간 피조물로서 우리의 연약함을 깨닫습니다. 구약 성경 시편 기자는 “주는 우리의 피난처시요 힘이시니 환난 때에 만날 큰 도움이시라”고 말했습니다.

Please uphold those under whom the earth has just given way. Calm their fears and enable many to turn to you for help in their distress.

지진의 지역 있는 자들을 주께서 붙잡아 주소서. 그들의 두려움을 진정시키고 수많은 사람들이 고통 중에 주님께 도움을 청할 수 있게 하소서.

We pray for those in Turkiye and Syria who grieve the devastating loss of life; for the injured or traumatized; for those searching for survivors; for those whose property has been destroyed or livelihoods ruined. We ask for your healing presence in their lives.

우리는 참담한 인명 손실로 슬퍼하는 투르키예와 시리아 사람들을 위해 기도합니다. 다치거나 외상을 입은 사람을 위해; 생존자를 찾는 사람들을 위해; 재산이 파괴되거나 생계가 망가진 사람들을 위해; 그들의 삶이 속히 치유되기를 간구합니다.

We ask you to speed access and to strengthen all those involved in search and rescue, and in care for the injured. We commend to your care those will work in the clean up. May shelter from the elements, with clean water, food and medical care be supplied as quickly as possible.

피해 지역 속히 접근할 수 있도록 도와주시고 수색 및 구조와 부상자 치료에 관련된 모든 사람들을 보강해 주시기 바랍니다. 우리는 구명, 구조에 봉사하는 사람들의 노고에 찬사를 보냅니다. 깨끗한 물과 음식, 의료 서비스가 가능한 한 빨리 제공되는 비바람으로부터 그들의 진정한 피난처가 되기를 바랍니다.

Be with the governments of these nations, and support efforts sent from other countries around the world, along with aid agencies, churches and other organizations, as they seek to serve. Sustain them through a time of tremendous stress.

주님께서 이들 국가의 정부와 함께 하시고, 그들이 봉사하고자 하는 구호 기관, 교회 및 기타 조직과 함께 전 세계 다른 국가에서 파견된 노력을 지원하도록 역사하시옵소서. 엄청난 힘든 시간에도 그들이 견딜 수 있도록 도와주소서.

We pray for Turkish and Syrian migrants among us in Australia who feel homesick and far away from loved ones at this time.

현재 호주(번역자 주: 혹은 세계 도처)에 있는 우리 가운데 고향을 그리워하고 사랑하는 사람들과 멀리 떨어져 있는 터키인과 시리아인 이민자들을 위해 기도합니다.

May generous gestures of practical aid and prayer support offered lift the spirits of those who hurt.

실질적인 도움과 기도 지원의 진귀한 노력들이 상처 입은 사람들의 영혼에게 일어날 수 있는 격려가 되게 하소서.

We give thanks to you, our God, for the blessing in our lives, especially for the gifts we so often take for granted till they are in danger of being taken from us – the gift of family, friends, a home, our possessions. Help us to be generous with what we have for the sake of those in need.

우리의 삶에 축복을 주신 우리 하나님, 특히 가족, 친구, 집, 소유물과 같은 주님이 주신 선물이 우리에게서 빼앗길 위험에 처할 때까지 우리의 것으로 여겼습니다. 이제 도움이 필요한 사람들을 위해 우리가 가진 것으로 관대하게 사용하게 하옵소서.

Most of all we praise you for the gift of Jesus Christ, who is the resurrection and the life to all who believe in him. And we look for the day when you will wipe every tear away from our eyes, through Jesus Christ, our rock and our redeemer. Amen.

무엇보다도 예수 그리스도를 선물로 주셔서 감사합니다. 그분은 자기를 믿는 모든 사람에게 부활이요 생명이 되십니다. 그리고 우리는 주께서 우리의 반석이시며 구속자이신 예수 그리스도를 통하여 우리 눈에서 모든 눈물을 닦아 주실 날을 기다립니다. 아멘(23.2.15.번역)
