대학교 졸업생들을 위한 기도문

A prayer for university graduates

“한 인생의 삶을 이끌어주시고 인도해 주시는 주님,

오늘의 영광스런 졸업이 있기까지 동행해 주시는 주님께

진심으로 감사드립니다.

“Lord, who leads and guides the life of a person,

To the Lord who accompanied me to my glorious graduation today,

I heartily thank you.

오늘의 졸업식이 있기까지 어렵고 힘든 여정 속에서 주님의

위로와 긍휼, 그리고 돌보심을 감사드립니다.

In the midst of the difficult and difficult journey

until today's graduation ceremony,

Thank you for your consolation, compassion, and care.

부모님과 가족, 친구들과 동료들, 수많은 스승들과 주변 인물을

때를 따라 돕는 은혜로 준비해 주시고 만나게 해 주심을 감사드립니다.

Parents and family, friends and colleagues, countless teachers

and people around them,

thank you for preparing and meeting them

with the grace of helping them from time to time.

졸업 이후의 저들의 앞길을 축복하시고, 큰 비전과 꿈을 가지고 새로운 삶을

향하여 전진하는 그들에게 축복하여 주옵소서.

Bless their future after graduation,

and have a big vision and dream for a new life,

Bless them as they advance towards.

어디서 무엇을 하더라도 세상의 빛과 소금이 되게 하시고,

먼저 주님의 나라와 의를 구하시는 신실한 그리스도인의 삶을 살게 하소서,

Whatever they do, they become the light and salt of the world,

First, let them live the life of a faithful Christian

who seeks the kingdom and righteousness of the Lord,

어디서나 겸손히 낮은 자리에서 이웃을 사랑하고 겸손하게 하시고,

주님의 사랑과 진리를 증거하는 복된 사람을 살게 하소서,

I hope them can be humble and love their neighbors in a low place,

Let blessed men live who prove the love and truth of the Lord,

그들이 가는 길에 어떤 고난과 위기의 상황을 만나더라도 좌절하지 않고

그 고난의 파도를 이길 수 있는 인내력과 믿음의 지구력을 더 하시옵소서,

No matter what hardships or crises they encounter on their way,

they don't get frustrated, Add patience and endurance of faith

to overcome the waves of hardship,

주야로 말씀을 묵상하며 주님의 뜻을 분별하여 하나님의 영광과 나라를 위해

헌신하는 참된 그리스도인의 제자로서 삶을 충실하게 살게 하소서,

Meditate on the word day and night, discern the will of the Lord

for the glory of God and for the kingdom,

Let life be faithful as a disciple of the faithful Christians

예수님의 이름으로 기도드립니다.

정준모 교수는 선교신학박사(D.Miss.)와 철학박사(Ph. D.)이다. 전 대한예수교 장로회 총회장, CTS 기독교 텔레비전 공동대표이사, GMS 총재, 총신대학교 개방, 교육 재단이사, 백석대학교대신대학교 교수, GMS(세계선교이사회) 총재 등을 역임했다. 현재는 현 GSM(선한목자 선교회) 고문, 콜로라도 말씀제일교회 담임, 국제개혁신학대학교 박사원 교수, 국제 성경통독아카데미 대표, 콜로라도 타임즈, 뉴스파워, 좋은신문, KCMUSA 칼럼리스트이며, 대표 저서로는 ≪칼빈의 교리교육론》, ≪개혁신학과 WCC 에큐메니즘》, 《장로교 정체성》 등 다수가 있다.
