“마지막 날에”(in these last days)

“옛적에 선지자들을 통하여 여러 부분과 여러 모양으로 우리 조상들에게 말씀하신 하나님이 이 모든 날 마지막에는 아들을 통하여 우리에게 말씀하셨으니”(히1:1-2)

“In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways,2 but in these last day she has spoken to us by his Son”(Hebrews 1:1-2)

[3] 묵상

하나님은 말씀하시는 즉, 계시하여 주시는 하나님이시다. 구약 시대에는 우리 믿음의 조상들에게 여러 내용과 여러 방식의 계시를 통하여 말씀하셨다.

God is a God who speaks, that is, a God who reveals. In the Old Testament era, God spoke to our ancestors in faith through revelations of various contents and in various ways.

그러한 구약시대에 주신 계시는 예표적, 예언적이었고 신약시대에는 하나님의 아들로 말미암아 구약시대의 계시가 실체적으로 성취되었다.

The revelation given in the Old Testament era was typical and prophetic, and in the New Testament era, the revelation of the Old Testament era was substantially fulfilled through the Son of God.

구약시대에 감취어 계셨던 그분께서 때가 되어 나타나셨다. 그는 임마누엘되시고 구원자가 되시기 위해 이 땅에 오셨다. 그분이 사람으로 오셨고 하나님의 뜻인 택자들의 속죄사역을 다 이루셨다.

He who was hidden during the Old Testament era appeared in due time. He came to this earth to become Immanuel and Savior. He came as His people and completed the work of atonement for the elect, which was God's will.

최종 특별 계시인 예수 그리스도의 일생, 성육신, 죽으심, 부활, 승천, 재림을 기록한 신약 계시는 최종적, 결정적 계시이다.

The New Testament revelation, which records the life, incarnation, death, resurrection, ascension, and second coming of Jesus Christ, is the final and definitive revelation.

구약 성경의 예표와 예언들은 하나님의 말씀으로 특별 계시이다. 신약은 구약 성경의  성취로서  특별 계시이다.

The types and prophecies of the Old Testament are special revelations from the Word of God. The New Testament is a special revelation as a fulfillment of the Old Testament.

구약 성경은 예언이요, 신약 성경은 성취이다. 구약 성경은 그림자요, 신약 성경은 실체로서   완벽한 최종 계시이다.  최종 계시의 중심이요, 성취자는 바로 예수 그리스도이시다.

The Old Testament is prophecy, and the New Testament is fulfillment. The Old Testament is a shadow, and the New Testament is the reality and complete revelation. The center and fulfillment of the final revelation is Jesus Christ.

그러므로 하나님의 계시는 아들이신 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 완성되고 종결되었다. 하나님의 최종적인 계시는 오직 아들 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 다 이루졌다.

Therefore, God's revelation was completed and concluded through His Son, Jesus Christ. God's final revelation was accomplished only through His Son, Jesus Christ.

그러므로 특별 계시인 예수 그리스도와 성경을 떠나 그 어떤 개인의 계시, 환상, 예언 등, 주관적 체험, 은사 등도 신학과 신학의 개관적 원리와 권위가 될 수 없다.

Therefore, apart from the special revelation of Jesus Christ and the Bible, no personal revelation, vision, prophecy, etc., subjective experience, or gift can serve as the overview principle and authority of theology.

이 마지막 때에 최종 계시자 되신 주님,

모든 성경은 주님에 대한, 주님의 이야기입니다.

The Lord, the final revealer  in these last days

All the Bible is about the Lord and the Lord's story.

주님은 구원의 완성자로 우리 곁에,

우리의 모습으로 오셨기에 감격입니다.

The Lord is by our side as the completer of salvation,

We are thrilled that you came as us.

오, 주님,

주님께서 나같은 죄인을 위해

구약을 통해 예언되셔고, 그 예언의 성취로

성육신 탄생은 놀라움이요, 충격입니다.

Oh Lord,

Lord, for a sinner like me

It was prophesied through the Old Testament, and through the fulfillment of that prophecy,

The birth of the Incarnation is surprising and wonderful.

오, 주님,

무엇을 위해, 어떻게 살아야 할지,

어떻게 은혜를 보답할지, 깨우쳐 주소서, 아멘

For what and how to live,
