Half-Time Youth Ministry Pastor

Church Overview / Position Summary:
The Reign Church is a growing Korean-American, multi-generational church located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. We share the gospel of Jesus Christ and nurture faithful disciples who live for His Kingdom in today’s world.
Our youth ministry primarily serves second-generation Korean-American middle and high school students who speak English and are influenced by both Korean and American cultural backgrounds.
We believe God has called us to two core missions:
1. To invest in the next generation—helping shape them through the gospel into devoted followers of Jesus.
2. To reach the lost in the greater Philadelphia region with the message of salvation in Christ.
We are seeking a half-time Youth Ministry Pastor to join us in this mission. This position involves guiding and mentoring youth in a Christ-centered, Scripture-driven ministry—helping students encounter Jesus Christ personally and take ownership of their faith.

About Our Church:
The Reign Church is currently a nondenominational congregation. Under the leadership of our new senior pastor, commissioned as an evangelist pastor in the Presbyterian Church of Korea (Tonghap), we are preparing to join a gospel-centered evangelical denomination in the near future.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Sunday and Friday worship services, delivering gospel-centered and relevant messages for youth and English-speaking members
• Plan and coordinate youth events including retreats, praise nights, service projects, and outreach activities
• Provide pastoral care and spiritual guidance for youth students
• Collaborate with Youth Ministry staff and teachers to plan and implement bible study curriculum
• Mentor and develop next generation leaders to serve in youth ministry

Qualifications:
• Theological training (B.A., M.Div., or in progress at an accredited seminary preferred)
• A vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• A calling and passion for youth ministry, especially within a Korean-American church context
• Experience working with youth
• Bilingual in Korean and English a plus, but not required

Work Hours:
10–20 hours per week, including Sundays and midweek youth activities

Compensation:
Based on experience, education, and agreed-upon weekly hours
